UDC plans to present ‘Managing Gas Pressure Systems in ArcGIS’ and ‘Solving Utility Spatial Relationships Between Poles & Conductors’ at the 2017 Esri UC.
UDC is pleased to announce that we have proposed two presentations to be made during the opening day Lightning Talk session at the Esri User Conference in San Diego, CA. The forum invites Esri Users to present and share accomplishments, ideas, concepts and knowledge with their GIS and industry peers. Lightning Talks will be held in Ballroom 20D on Monday, July 10th from 4:30 – 6:00pm.
TJ Houle, UDC’s Gas Program Manager at PG&E, will present Managing Gas Pressure Systems in ArcGIS. TJ will walk through the processes established by UDC for effectively managing gas pressure systems and providing accessibility, increased awareness, improved issue identification and ease of system integration.
UDC’s Senior Software Engineer, Rob Rader will present Solving Utility Spatial Relationships Between Poles & Conductors. Rob’s presentation focuses on a solution for relating poles to the conductors they support both visually and within the GIS data. Moving forward, the Utility Network Model releases from Esri, containing built-in functionality for structure, will require resolution of spatial relationship data conflicts through processes like the one being presented. Rob is a solution architect with over 14 years of experience between Esri, Schneider Electric, Rader Logic, and UDC and has served numerous utility companies worldwide.
In addition to giving Lightning Talks, TJ and Rob will be available at our booth #710 during the Esri UC providing demonstrations of UDC’s Digital Utility® - Toolsets and Solutions. Feel free to stop in with any questions or contact Bart Elliott to receive a copy of the UDC Lightning Talk presentations following the conference.
