UDC is happy to announce the appointment of three members to its newly established Advisory Board of Directors. UDC leadership will look to these members for guidance in business strategy, corporate governance, and growth within the GIS industry and Utilities and Infrastructure markets.
Bill Nantell, Executive Vice President Emeritus
Recently retired from UDC, Bill’s career has encompassed over 40 years in executive management roles with 30 of those years spent managing IT and GIS related service organizations, including Intelligraphics, ASI, Wind Lake Solutions (now SSP), and RAMTeCH. A highly respected industry leader, Bill has also served as President of the Geospatial Information Technology Association and as Chairman of the Automated Mapping/Facilities Management Executive Management Symposium.
As Executive Vice President at UDC, Bill played an instrumental role in building UDC partnerships, reinforcing client relationships, and motivating project teams to reach goals.
Paul Caffery, UDC Advisory Board of Directors Member
With over 31 years of management and gas utility operations experience, Paul successfully helped to implement transformational organizational change for utilities, including PG&E, CenterPoint Energy, Oklahoma City Gas and Electric, Atmos Energy, and PSE&G, throughout his career. He has additionally held esteemed leadership positions as President of the CGI User Group and SAP Americas User Group.
Prior to joining UDC’s Advisory Board of Directors, Paul represented UDC at Sempra Energy – providing management consultation on the design of the cutting-edge Gas Operation Control Center for San Diego Gas and Electric.
Sholingur Asuri Lakshminarayanan (SAL), UDC Advisory Board of Directors Member
For the past 40+ years, SAL has served the IT industry in India. He began his career as a maintenance engineer for a digital calculator company and moved into management roles in OMC Computers and Infotech Enterprises before joining UDC in 2021 as Director of UDC India Operations. SAL has worked with several international clients throughout his career, helping to implement innovative technology solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
