UDC discusses the benefits of implementing a GIS-based framework that supports visually planning, creating, monitoring, and reporting on all planned surveys and inspections. The framework supports defining all surveys and inspections. Users visually create preventative maintenance programs based on their own area of interest or area of work that is natural for them to manage. The framework has integrations for the utility’s scheduling and dispatching system, including their EAM/WMS and their mobile devices. It comes with its own ArcGIS Enterprise mobile component.
