PG&E is working to achieve their True North strategy by aligning their core enterprise business systems, with a focus on the Enterprise Asset Management (SAP) and GIS (Esri) systems. These major business projects will provide a long-term strategy for application and data governance, as well as provide the roadmap for implementing best in class solutions. Architecting a change of this scope is a complex process, and PG&E will discuss how business process, technology best practice, and data quality were all leveraged to create a long-term roadmap and implementation path.
