Esri Partner Specialties
2021 – UDC was recertified for the Network Management Specialty with special recognition in both electric and gas utilities services. Our original 2018 designation was awarded for the successful pilot migrations of gas and electric assets to the Utility Network Model in addition to the development of a migration tool that automates much of the process.
2021 – An extension of the Utility Network Management Specialty, UDC earned this designation for leveraging the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension to provide services and solutions to gas utilities.
2021 – An extension of the Utility Network Management Specialty, UDC earned this designation for leveraging the ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension to provide services and solutions to electric utilities.
2020 – The ArcGIS Marketplace Provider designation was received for UDC’s Librarian for ArcGIS Pro. This add-in automates recording of map properties, catalogues map features, deployed mapping standards, and enables circulation of map layers, details, and symbology enterprise wide.
2021 – The ArcGIS System Ready Specialty is awarded by Esri to partners that consistently provide industry expertise, innovative solutions, and services incorporating the latest ArcGIS software releases. It replaces the Release Ready Specialty awarded to UDC in 2018. Esri retired this specialty in 2025.
Industry Awards
2024 – UDC was presented the Esri Partner Network 2024 Integration Award at the Esri IMGIS Conference for our recent project work in data, system, and network integration enhancements to support various utility modernization initiatives, including outage management, grid optimization, and advanced Network Information Management functionality.
2022 – UDC was presented the 2022 Esri IMGIS Conference award under the category of ‘Comprehensive GIS’ for our work with AVANGRID and Dominion Energy on recent Utility Network projects. 2021 – UDC was presented the Esri IMGIS Conference award for innovation in the area of data analytics for our work with Avista, headquartered in Spokane, WA, on their migration of gas distribution and transmission to the Utility Network and UPDM. 2020 – UDC was awarded the EPC Innovative Solution award for the development and implementation of a Utility Network auto-migration tool, our Reliability Analysis solution including integration to ArcGIS Insights, and our Digital Utility® – Gas OMS.
