Fifteen years ago today on May 5, 2005, Rachel Benson and I had the great blessing of launching UDC in Castle Rock, CO and began offering our services and GIS-based solutions to gas and electric utilities across the U.S. and Canada.
We have been through many ups and downs, but all the troubles we experienced pale in significance to the trying times the world is facing today. Yet, I must take a moment to acknowledge those who have contributed to UDC’s good fortune. I want to thank our wonderful Energy Utility clients and our great partners for continuing to place their trust in us to deliver our services.
I must also recognize our UDC staff, current and former employees, who worked tirelessly for our customers. I thrive on implementations and find it thrilling to plan and execute workflows that significantly change and improve how utilities do their work, but my greatest joy over the past 15 years has been the friendships and fellowships we have forged together through trials and endeavors.
