A highly respected industry leader with over thirty years in the GIS solutions industry, Eric Bishop brings his extensive ESRI experience and knowledge to the UDC team as Executive Account Manager. As a Strategic Account Executive for ESRI prior to joining UDC, Eric oversaw the accounts for multiple Fortune 500 Electric and Gas utility clients. In this role, he was responsible for supporting utility executives and their GIS strategy, helping to align with their business solutions.
Eric’s early work with ESRI included overseeing an account management team for the ESRI regional office and account management of all platforms in Washington state, including federal, state, local government, utilities, and private industries. Here, he was instrumental in promoting the adoption of ESRI’s ArcGIS platform, leveraging his experience to help customers achieve their business goals.
Eric’s utility experience comprises twenty-five years of GIS solutioning in the Electric, Gas, and Water and Wastewater industries, including:
- Electric and Gas Distribution, Electric Transmission, Power Generation, Real-time Data Integration
- Oil and Gas Exploration, Pipeline Industries
- Water and Wastewater Operations and Maintenance
- State, County, Local Government
As Executive Account Manager at UDC, Eric will work closely with our West Coast accounts, helping to effectively solve key business challenges and drive continuous improvements through consulting, integration, and software. UDC will look to his thought leadership for new lines of business and growth opportunities.
