UDC is pleased to announce the appointment of six service area leaders to oversee operations, growth, and offering success for our primary utilities and infrastructure service and solution areas. These appointments provide distinct focus for our new and established company leaders and include the promotion and onboarding of several UDC team members.

Dawn Jones, Director of Operations
Staffing Solutions
We are pleased to announce Dawn Jones has been promoted to Director of Operations. A member of the UDC team since 2005, Dawn moves into this role with over 30 years of experience in the areas of GIS, project management, and account management.
Directing Staffing Solutions for UDC, Dawn will oversee operations and development of services geared towards our clients’ provisional GIS staffing requests to support a range of business needs, including interim IT / operations, leadership transitions, and supplementary staffing for in-house projects.

Jill Bricker, Vice President of Operations
Utility Network Transformation
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jill Bricker to Vice President of Operations. In her leadership roles at UDC, Esri, Accenture, and PG&E over the past 20 years, Jill has managed numerous GIS projects involving all aspects of data conversion, migration, and the entire software development lifecycle for domestic and international clients.
Jill has been appointed to oversee the execution and successful delivery of Utility Network Transformation services and solutions addressing the primary stages of ArcGIS Utility Network planning, readiness, and migration.

Jeff Schneider, Director of Operations
Data Acquisition
We welcome Jeff Schneider to the UDC team from WE Energies. As an Account Manager at WE, Jeff was responsible for managing over 30 of the company’s key Commercial and Industrial clients and helped to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Directing the Data Acquisition practice area for UDC, Jeff is focused on fostering UDC’s further growth into this market in the evolving areas of virtual asset collection for GIS and other systems.

Alan Girten, Vice President of Operations
Business Process Support, Compliance Management
Alan Girten has been chosen to lead UDC’s Business Process Support and Compliance Management practice areas as Vice President of Operations. Heading up UDC’s Data Services division for the past 12 years, Alan will continue to work in this area to oversee operations and delivery of client data quality and integrity initiatives. In addition, he will have a dual role overseeing implementations of spatially enabled technology and solutions that support utilities to meet regulatory compliance.

Mitch Spichiger, Vice President of Operations
GIS Services
Joining UDC in 2020 from IBM, Mitch Spichiger has led our Systems Integration division. As Vice President of Operations for UDC’s GIS Services practice area, Mitch will oversee operations for the full lifecycle of system implementation and integration activities for our clients, including implementations, upgrades, configurations, deployments, and GIS integrations with utility and infrastructure enterprise systems.

Ed Riegelmann, Senior Vice President of Operations
Federal GIS
Announced in the first quarter of 2023 as a new member to the UDC team with a background in the Federal geospatial market, Ed Riegelmann has expertise in developing and managing enterprise scale geographic information system (GIS) programs, IT projects, web and mobility solutions, survey and mapping, and database development. Ed is leading the development and growth of UDC’s Federal service area as Senior Vice President of Operations.
