Project Highlights

Project Duration: 01/2023 – 12/2024

Objective: Work Order Maintenance

Collaborating with Portland General Electric (PGE) on data maintenance initiatives since 2018, UDC is happy to announce its extended work with the utility on as-built design data maintenance. For this initiative, UDC is as-builting and posting 32,000 service and non-design work orders to PGE’s GIS through the end of 2024.

PGE Goals

UDC’s continued support on data maintenance projects enables PGE to pursue more complex internal initiatives such as mapping improvements for its downtown mesh network, implementing ADMS, and making operational and data enhancements.

Through this project, PGE can further these efforts as well as maintain a current and accurate GIS.

UDC’s Role

Using our customized, comprehensive tracking and Problem Action Response (PAR) systems, UDC GIS Specialists are performing the editing, quality control (QC), and data acceptance testing (DAT) of the work orders over the two-year period.
