UDC is pleased to announce the appointment of James Bateman as the Director of International Business Development.
James brings over 20 years of experience in providing consulting, digital transformation, and data improvement solutions to companies in the Energy, Utility, and Infrastructure sectors across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). He previously held leadership positions in sales and business development at several prominent companies, including Cyclomedia, Hitachi Vantara, Cyient Europe, 1Spatial, and Esri UK.
Most recently, James served as the UK & EU Utilities Director at Cyclomedia, a data acquisition services provider. In this role, he helped establish a utility business vertical for the firm in Europe as well as developed a partner network of companies.
As Director of International Business Development, James is focused on identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market potential, and developing long-term business growth strategies for UDC globally. His primary goal is to grow UDC’s presence in the international market.
