UDC was presented with the Esri Partner Network Award in the Innovation category during the 2026 Esri Partner Conference, held March 8–9 in Palm Springs, California. Esri, a global leader in location intelligence, collaborates with a network of over 3,000 partners worldwide. The partners that were given awards at the conference had demonstrated innovative and creative solutions to complex problems using Esri’s ArcGIS software, as well as exceptional work advancing geographic information system (GIS) technology.
UDC was recognized at this year’s conference for incorporating emerging cloud technologies with ArcGIS to deliver an innovative solution for Arizona Public Services (APS). UDC assisted APS in testing ArcGIS Utility Network editing applications and third-party data management tools in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment. This initiative helped the utility prepare for transitioning its electric assets to the Utility Network model by providing a streamlined approach to exploring solutions and capabilities prior to full implementation.
“Receiving this Esri Partner Network Award is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the strong collaboration between UDC, APS, and our partners at Esri. Leveraging emerging cloud technologies with ArcGIS allowed us to help APS accelerate its Utility Network journey in a meaningful, future-focused way. We’re proud to contribute to solutions that advance the utility industry and demonstrate the real impact of modern geospatial architecture.”
William Craft, UDC Vice President of Enterprise Architecture
This marks the fifth time UDC has been honored by Esri. UDC has previously received awards for innovations in integration, data analytics, comprehensive GIS, and the development and implementation of its HEIDE tool for Utility Network migration.
