UDC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Thomson to its strategic advisory board. Jim brings over 40 years of valuable experience from leadership roles in the consulting marketplace, most recently at Deloitte, where he served as Vice Chair and the US Power, Utilities & Renewables (PU&R) National Sector Leader.
At Deloitte, Jim led the strategic vision and strengthened market presence by aligning talent with client needs and by developing leadership, succession, and go-to-market strategies for Deloitte’s key businesses in the PU&R Sector: Audit, Consulting, Risk & Financial Advisory, and Tax.
UDC previously collaborated with Jim on utility operational technology projects prior to his retirement from Deloitte, and we know him well. He shares our team’s passion for making a positive impact by solving challenges for utilities and their customers. His perspective and experience will support UDC as the company continues to strengthen its strategic direction, expand its capabilities, and deliver value to clients and partners. He also brings a passion and enthusiasm for strengthening the strong culture that exists at UDC.
