Dax helps utilities integrate and adapt GIS to current business processes

I am the Vice President of Utility Network Transformation at UDC, with more than 25 years of experience delivering GIS solutions across the electric, gas, fiber, and water sectors. I specialize in aligning Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with utility business processes to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and scalability. With a background spanning both utility operations and consulting, I bring a practical, results-driven approach to modernizing GIS environments and supporting long-term transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining UDC, I served as Supervisor of GIS Administration at Imperial Irrigation District, where I developed deep expertise in utility workflows and system integration. At UDC, I have held roles including Project Manager and Solutions Engineer, leading enterprise GIS implementations and Utility Network migration efforts. In my current role, I oversee the planning and execution of transformation programs for domestic and international clients, guiding organizations through complex change with a focus on operational alignment, clear communication, and measurable outcomes.
