With a sales and business development background, Karen joins the UDC team from Cyient and has relevant work experience from Centillion Solutions, Clearion, RAMTeCH, TOM TOM, and Byers Engineering Company.
Karen will lead strategic business development for UDC which includes identifying new business opportunities with existing and new clients, analyzing market potential, and developing long-term business growth strategies for current and emerging markets.
Bringing with her 39 years of experience in the utility and telecom industries, Karen has helped utilities discover the value of their data as an asset, enabling them to leverage their data to support modern systems and other grid modernization initiatives using LiDAR, imagery, and AI.
She holds a BS in Human Resources (Social Psychology) from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. In addition, Karen is the founder and owner of a virtual publishing company, providing an online community for original authors to share children’s bedtime stories, poems, and prayers.
