Esri CEO Jack Dangermond, UDC’s Hamid Akhavan, Esri Director Global Business Development Jeff Peters – Esri presents UDC with Innovative Solution award on opening day of the Partner Conference.
Esri recognized 19 companies out of 2200 that have demonstrated outstanding achievement as an Esri partner across categories including alignment with the ArcGIS platform, delivering innovative solutions, and helping customers succeed.
UDC was selected as the winner of the 2020 Esri Partner Conference Innovative Solution Award for leveraging Esri technology in unique and innovative ways. This was for our HEIDE Utility Network migration tool, Reliability Analysis solution, including integration to Insights, and Gas Outage Management System.
Highlighted Innovative Solutions
UDC’s Gas OMS is built on the ArcGIS Enterprise and provides gas operators complete digital end-to-end gas outage and relight management capabilities. This solution was acknowledged with an award during the GeoConX 2019 in Atlanta (read more), as well as recognized recently during the EPC in Palm Springs.
The Partner Conference award includes two new solutions that were featured by UDC in the Esri demo theater during the 2020 DistribuTECH conference held this past January in San Antonio.
HEIDE – High-Fidelity Export Import Data Exchange is a tool for performing both data readiness assessment and migration from any GIS platform to the Utility Network model. By automating asset package creation, HEIDE enables the utility to take an iterative approach to Utility Network migration. In addition, utilities can run two networks in parallel until they are ready to make a full shift. UDC’s Reliability Analysis solution built on ArcGIS Enterprise, Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, utilizing PI Integrator for ArcGIS, and incorporating Insights for ArcGIS is driven by integrations from key utility systems such as outage management, SCADA, and distribution planning. The solution leverages Feeder Sentinel which is an interactive operational dashboard with current and historic display capabilities. Feeder Sentinel supports asset management, condition-based maintenance, predicted maintenance and reliability analysis at the feeder level for utilities by enabling the utility to bring together, visualize, and analyze feeder and asset system data from across the organization.
