We are excited to announce that UDC has successfully renewed our Utility Network Certification with Esri, and we have also added two very important UN Specialties to our resume. As a partner in the Utility Network Management Specialty, UDC is recognized for our expertise with utilities and the implementation of services using the ArcGIS Utility Network. We are honored to be a part of the newly defined industry sub-specialties, Electric Utilities Services and Gas Utilities Services, and the opportunities they present to engage with new and existing customers.
This accomplishment can be attributed to our extensive work on current Utility Network projects as well as a coordinated and intense effort by our UDC team. Pulling from each of our active UN teams, we called on our real-world experts to show how UDC is building capabilities in the UN. The team developed an agenda that matched the requirements for the certification and showcased our expertise for the Esri UN Certification review panel. Coordinated by SI Director TJ Houle, UDC team members presented on our UN knowledge and expertise including the following demonstrations of capabilities:
- Building our client’s electric Utility Network, including the manual effort required to convert the data
- Active client gas data model with customized tier and tracing configuration
- Real-world transmission data in action to run through the configuration of APR and Event Editor
- Walkthrough highlighting the automation of UN Services and how those services are used by Esri mobile applications
- HEIDE migration tool and the wide array of add-ins the team has developed to automate the configuration of the Utility Network in ArcGIS Pro
- Current company structure and how UDC works with Esri as a valued partner
