Our understanding of the ADMS implementation process combined with our utility data and system knowledge, GIS expertise, and Systems Integration experience sets us apart from the other operational technology utility integrators. We help our clients fit the pieces of the ADMS process into their unique enterprise landscapes, positioning them to get the most mileage from their digital investments.
Our growing team has supported ADMS and grid modernization initiatives for several clients, including Xcel Energy, Hydro One, BC Hydro, SMECO, and CORE Electric Cooperative.

UDC first partnered with CORE Electric Cooperative (CORE) to develop a roadmap for prioritizing and deploying the utility’s ADMS and Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) integrations and technologies, as the first step in the organization’s overall modern grid management strategy. UDC continues to be actively engaged in CORE’s journey to full ADMS implementation, supplying further planning, preparation, and consulting services.
These grid modernization initiatives are helping CORE reach its long-term goal of a fully connected electrical distribution model for more reliable power and safer conditions for its members and communities served.
ADMS Roadmap and Planning at CORE
To identify, prioritize, and plan for the best integration of operation and information technologies for its multi-year grid modernization strategy, CORE and UDC finalized a roadmap for deploying the ADMS and DERMS technologies and integrations. The roadmap supports CORE’s business needs and priorities through a logical business release schedule, setting the cooperative on its path to building a fully connected electrical distribution model. With this plan in place, CORE can continue on its modern grid management journey with confidence in the future technologies and capabilities ADMS will bring.
“Deploying an advanced distribution management system for ADMS, it’s a multi-year project requiring cross discipline coordination and a well-thought-out plan. This was the main reason we reached out to UDC to develop our roadmap.”Alex Lionakis, Electrical Engineer, CORE
